Can you believe that 2008 is almost over? I started the year with the mantra, "2008 Will Be Great" and it has proven to be just that. Absolutely GREAT!
I just returned from a small New England town, Natick, MA
 just outside of Boston. The trees were ablaze with color when I arrived, as the leaves were turning shades of gold and fire.
There in this quaint little town in the special care nursery at the local hospital, I met my new twin granddaughters, Ísa Docia and Annika Zoë, for the first time. Each weighed in at about 3.5 lbs and are doing great.

Sitting in the airport waiting for my return flight, the news blasted on a TV monitor overhead. It was all doom and gloom being proclaimed by the news media. Forecasts of economic chaos in the housing and stock markets along with global recession cast a somber mood on the travelers in the room.
Conversations all around me were filled with FEAR and I thought to myself, "no doubt, they don't even realize they are being "hung by the tongue" by letting fear based words out of their mouths.
You can't speak negative if you expect positive outcomes in your own life.

Don't Get Hung By Your Tongue

Hold your tongue!
Don't be tempted to talk like the masses during this economic shift.
Your words have power! They can propel you into increasing success and abundance, or into lack and failure in any kind of economic environment.
The news media is blasting out "woe is me" broadcasting. Don't buy into their propaganda. I know that fear is contagious! We all deal with it on some level. That is why I have chosen to unplug and to limit my intake of the news on television, in the newspaper, and on talk radio. Actually, that is my secret and I made that decision many years ago.
The economy in North America as well as the world is definitely shifting. However, there are companies and individuals that are THRIVING in this mass shift. For six months I have been telling my clients and readers to look for opportunity during this economic swing and be ready to act quickly! Those that were prepared are having a better year than ever before, breaking sales and earnings records.
Now that the shifting economy is in full swing, if you weren't prepared you may be tempted to speak about your losses and line up with the doomsayers. DON'T!
The words of your mouth are a creative force. When God, (Spirit, universe, or source, etc.) created you, you were given ONE THING to co-create your world with. WORDS. Use them wisely. It's the only creative resource you've got.
Your words are predestining your future with every word you speak. They are the architect of your life. So use them carefully to construct the life you REALLY want to live.
Pre-thinking has brought you to this place in life. The words spoken in the past have created your present. If you are happy with the results that you have obtained, then you have used the proper building blocks of thoughts and words to get you to this place.
However, some of you are not happy with the results. You have been hung by your tongue by releasing negative words out of your mouth, setting in motion a negative outcome.
But I am pleased and excited to tell you that you don't have to stay doomed to failure. YOU and you alone can take the present circumstances of your life and turn them around to create the life of your dreams.
The power to create a healthy, prosperous, and blessed life is in the words you choose to entertain and speak at this moment.
Speak consciously and deliberately.

The best way that I've found to get out of fear these days is to focus on the present moment. If I'm in a bad mood or noticing that the collective fear is leaking into my world, I stop everything and I tap into the present moment. However simple this may seem to you, it's actually miraculous. I throw on a scarf, go down to the beach and take a walk along the water. I put my attention on the subtle scent of the sea air, I listen to the seagulls, I watch my footsteps in the sand. I stay totally present. Why?
Because you CANNOT be in fear AND in the present moment at the same time. It's impossible. When you are in the present moment, you are in direct connection to Spirit or God or the Universe, whatever you choose to call it. And that is your direct pipeline to love. And love and fear cannot coexist. It's a universal law.
